My project is an ethnographical study of serving and retired Met Police Special Branch and/or Counter Terrorism command police officers. 

How do they understand and frame their service? And what are the implications for our understanding of couter-terrorism, and the policing of national sec in a Lib Dem state? 

Research Interests:

• Police ethnography 

• Covert/secret section of policing in counter-terrorism

• Espionage, subversion and sabotage.
